McKinley Behavioral Health & Clinical Services (BHCS) Program is seeking a skilled and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Crisis Stabilization Clinician to join our Crisis Stabilization Program.
This position is responsible for providing direct clinical services, crisis intervention, and stabilization to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises.
The clinician will deliver trauma-informed, person-centered care while ensuring continuity of services, timely documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic, assessment, and counseling skills, as well as a passion for supporting individuals in crisis.
Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field (required).
Minimum of one to two years of clinical experience, preferably in crisis intervention, behavioral health, or emergency services.
This position requires State of Illinois clearance for child abuse/neglect history, as well as a personal background review, fingerprinting, and criminal check.
Experience with co-occurring disorders, severe mental illness (SMI), or forensic populations is preferred.
LPC, LSW, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois (or eligibility for licensure within 6 months).
Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
Compensation: $55,000 to $60,000 Annually with $3000 Sign-on Bonus
