McKinley Behavioral Health & Clinical Services (BHCS) Program is seeking a Mental Health Professional (MHP) Crisis Stabilization Clinician to join our Crisis Stabilization Program.
This role involves delivering direct support, intervention, and care coordination services to individuals experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises.
The MHP works under the guidance of a QMHP or Team Lead to provide timely, compassionate, and trauma-informed services that focus on de-escalation, stabilization, and continuity of care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to engage clients, manage crisis situations, and support recovery-oriented treatment.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field (required).
At least one year of experience in mental health, crisis intervention, or behavioral health services is preferred.
Background check and clearance required.
This position requires clearance from the State of Illinois for child abuse/neglect history, along with a personal background check, fingerprinting, and criminal clearance.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
Compensation: $50,000 to $55,000 Annually with $3000 Sign-on Bonus

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Duties are performed in a typical office environment. No unusual or adverse working conditions exist.
