Animal Specialty Center (ASC) is hiring Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs, CVTs, and RVTs) for our Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Emergency departments in Yonkers, NY. Compensation ranges from $28-$40/hour based on department, experience, and skills assessment, plus lucrative shift differentials.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to hospitalized and critical patients
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory diagnostics, and sample collection
- Obtain diagnostic imaging including radiographs
- Monitor and document patient status, treatments, and responses
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and advanced procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients and hospital team members
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced specialty and emergency environment
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active CVT, LVT, or RVT credential (or eligibility for licensure) in New York State
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician in specialty, emergency, or general practice preferred
- Strong technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and laboratory procedures
- Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude with a commitment to patient care and professional growth
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
