The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive clinical services, including diagnosis and treatment, to patients of all ages in a community setting. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage acute and chronic conditions while promoting healthy lifestyles.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current Virginia licensure and certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and experience with underserved populations are required, with Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred.
The Physician Assistant provides quality clinical services to patients of all ages within a community-based setting that promotes healthy lifestyles, prevention of illness and injury and management of acute and chronic conditions. Activities involve direct patient care, physical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral for specialty services as needed, and follow-up.
The Physician Assistant provides care in collaboration with the center’s Physicians and Chief Medical Officer.
