• BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Relief Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department in Olympia!
• LVT I Pay: $24.50 - $35.21/Hr This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system.
• We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. *Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
• For example: Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential As a Veterinary Technician, you will: Triage and obtain patient history Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Advanced Radiographs Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases Level 2 & 3 Inpatient Care Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

• Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours.
• Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
