The Nurse Practitioner provides behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment under physician supervision. Responsibilities include prescribing medications, conducting diagnostic tests, and maintaining detailed patient records.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing and a valid license to practice. Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for behavioral health and substance use disorders is required.
Under clinical supervision of a physician, the Nurse Practitioner provides behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment to patients within the scope of his/her licensure and expertise level of the supervising physician.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing with appropriate license to practice.
