The Diagnostician conducts comprehensive diagnostic interviews and assessments to determine appropriate levels of care for individuals. They are responsible for developing individualized recovery care plans and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency standards.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field and meet criteria for a qualified mental health professional. A minimum of one year of experience in treating substance use disorders is required, along with appropriate state licensure.
The Diagnostician is responsible for providing a comprehensive assessment. The Diagnostician will assess all problem areas, recommend an appropriate level of care and develop an interpretative summary from which individualized recovery care plan goals are developed.
