Develop and administer occupational therapy programs and treatments for a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient populations. Provide essential education to patients and families while collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy and a valid Georgia State Board license. Candidates must have at least 2 years of licensed clinical experience and CPR certification for all age groups.
Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
1. B. S. Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy. 2. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy 3. Must be certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups. 4. Must have 2 years of licensed clinical experience. 5. Internal candidate must attain 3.25 PE (prior year), no disciplinary action on file, and no red rule violation.
1. Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other government regulations.
