The Social Worker provides psychosocial assessments, counseling, and case management to patients and families coping with illness and death. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop plans of care and serve as patient advocates within the community.
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) and a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) credential are required, while a Master's degree (MSW) and LCSW are preferred. Candidates must possess a valid Arkansas driver's license, a vehicle, and car insurance.

The Social Worker (LSW & BSW) or (LMSW & LCSW) assists patients/families in coping with the impact of illness and/or anticipated death and provides a variety of social work services under the direction of a physician. The Social Worker performs psychosocial assessments, provides ongoing psychosocial counseling, direct case management services, and bereavement services. The Social Worker also provides community education, participates in outreach activities, and serves as a patient/family advocate. The Social Worker is an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) required; Master’s degree (MSW) preferred.
Previous related work experience in a hospice or other healthcare setting preferred.
Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required (a Bachelor’s prepared Social Worker (BSW) must be supervised by an MSW; LCSW preferred.
Valid Arkansas driver’s license, car, and car insurance required.
