• Responsibilities: Administer conscious sedation and other medications to patients before and during procedures. Monitor patient’s vital signs and patterns continuously during procedures to ensure stability. Assist the radiologist by preparing sterile trays, passing guide wires, and handling other equipment during interventions. Manage the insertion, maintenance, and removal of intravenous lines for the delivery of medication and contrast dye. Conduct and document ongoing patient assessments, including physical examinations and reviews of laboratory results. Educate patients and their families on the details of post-procedure care and recovery plans. Perform comprehensive reviews of patient allergies, medical history, and prior physical assessment findings with the medical team. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to develop and implement a plan of care that optimizes patient outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• IR/Neuro experience +2 years, stroke, PE, lysis UFE, moderate sedation is required +3 years of IR/neuro experience preferred RN, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certified BLS(AHA) is beneficial to have Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
