The Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Specialist delivers specialized pharmaceutical services to ensure safe, effective, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients in the Oncology Infusion Center. This involves reviewing physician orders, dispensing drugs, counseling patients and families, and providing drug information to other health professionals.
Candidates must possess a required Pharmacist license and either a Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy. Preferred experience includes 1 year of related Fellowship/Internship/Residency and 2 years of Clinical Pharmacy experience.

We’re hiring an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to play a key role in supporting patients receiving care in our Oncology Infusion Center. In this highly specialized position, you’ll help ensure every patient receives safe, effective, and personalized medication therapy—while also partnering closely with providers and leading clinical pharmacy initiatives within the infusion setting. Work Schedule Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no weekends / consistent schedule) What you’ll do Review and verify provider orders to ensure accuracy, safety, and appropriate oncology treatment plans Prepare and dispense medications while ensuring timely, compliant infusion center operations Counsel patients and families on medications, side effects, and treatment expectations Serve as a trusted resource to physicians, nurses, and care teams by providing expert drug information and recommendations Contribute to clinical initiatives, including developing order sets, care plans, and supporting infusion pharmacy workflows Review and optimize chemotherapy, biologic, and supportive care orders using Epic/Beacon Participate in research initiatives, quality improvement projects, and clinical committees Precept PGY1/PGY2 residents and pharmacy students Who you are A licensed pharmacist with strong clinical experience in oncology or infusion-based care Knowledgeable in chemotherapy protocols, oncology medications, and safe handling practices Collaborative and confident working across multidisciplinary teams Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety and quality outcomes Passionate about improving the patient experience through education and clinical expertise PGY1 Residency or PGY2 Oncology Residency or BCOP
