About the role

Deliver individual and group trauma-informed therapy to youth impacted by domestic violence and abuse. Develop personalized treatment plans and collaborate with caregivers and partner agencies to provide comprehensive support.

Youth therapist

As a Youth Therapist, you will deliver trauma-informed care to children and adolescents across our region. We are seeking two dedicated, compassionate Youth Therapists to join our team with the option for a 10-month work schedule (August through June), aligning with the school year, or a 12-month schedule providing services over the summer.

We are currently hiring for two focus areas

Grand

Forks

County: This position focuses on youth and their families throughout Grand Forks County providing services at CVIC main office, shelter and local schools.

Rural: This role provides in-person therapy directly within rural school settings and community outreach sites. Therapy services may also be provided at CVIC offices.

What You’ll Need

Master’s degree in social work or counseling.

North Dakota license - LMSW or LAPC required; LCSW or LPCC preferred.

Experience providing therapy services and work with children and victims of violence preferred.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally or rural, depending on position.

What You’ll Do

Deliver individual and group therapy to youth (under age 18) impacted by domestic violence, sexual abuse, stalking, bullying, and related trauma.

Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.

Provide support and resources to caregivers and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure youth and families have access to the help they may need.

Maintain accurate records and assist with billing and insurance processes.

Participate in community outreach, prevention, and education efforts.
