Requirements summary
Candidates must hold ACSW, AMFT, LCSW, or LMFT registration/licensure and possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Preference is given to those with 2+ years of experience in social services working with children who have experienced complex trauma.
Koinonia Family Services is excited to announce an opportunity for a part-time clinician to serve clients in our Family Restoration Program in Loomis, CA. The program supports youth and their families in Placer County who are at-risk of entering foster care or are in foster care, as well as youth who have been adopted through the foster care system. This is a great opportunity for an experienced licensed clinician (LCSW or LMFT), or a registered associate (ACSW or AMFT) who is looking to further their professional development.

Key Responsibilities
Complete assessments to inform a diagnosis
Develop person-centered treatment plans
Provide individual and family therapy in clients' homes or in-office depending upon clients’ needs
Evaluates clinical interventions to meet desired outcomes
Write mental health notes and document client progress
Complete necessary Medi-Cal approval paperwork and related documentation
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Collaborate with the youth’s natural supports and system team members
Assists with coordinating discharges and after-care efforts
Maintains intern registration and/or licensure status in good standing and participates in required supervision

The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for tasks such as visiting client homes, engaging with community partners, often in locations not easily accessible by alternative transportation methods.
The nature of these responsibilities necessitates the ability to drive to ensure timely, reliable, confidential and effective support for the youth and families we serve.
