Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiology

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures Evaluate patients pre-operatively and develop individualized anesthesia plans Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient safety Manage post-anesthesia care and assess patient recovery Provide consultations regarding anesthesia techniques and protocols Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education Adhere to all safety and quality standards within the facility

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Active medical license to practice anesthesiology Minimum of 2 years of experience in anesthesiology Strong knowledge of anesthetic techniques and protocols Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse medical team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Commitment to ongoing professional development and education

Schedule

• Friday (5p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a)

• Volume: 3,600 surgical cases
• Case
• Types: Orthopedics, L&D, spine, GI, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric bypass, and minimal vascular cases

• EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
