The Peer Recovery Specialist coordinates patient care and engagement while addressing relapse issues in collaboration with other specialists. Key duties include facilitating follow-up care, performing patient screenings, and conducting community outreach for underserved populations.
Candidates must be a Certified Peer or Recovery Coach with at least two years of self-attested abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to self-manage are required.
