The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides clinical care during surgery by assembling necessary supplies, equipment, and sutures while ensuring strict adherence to surgical asepsis and safety standards. Essential duties include performing circulating functions, coordinating with the healthcare team, managing patient transfers and positioning, and completing all required intraoperative documentation.
Candidates must be licensed Registered Nurses in Michigan and possess a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing, with operating room experience being preferred. Key requirements include excellent communication, a compassionate demeanor, strong organizational skills, the ability to perform well under pressure, and the physical capacity for prolonged standing, lifting, and manual patient maneuvering.
