The General Radiographer operates radiology equipment to assist in diagnosing and treating disease or injury, which involves working with complex machines, adjusting settings, and preparing patients for optimal imaging. This role also includes processing radiographs, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining the radiographic area, and managing patient records.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and hold the required General Radiographer (GRG) State Licensing Board certification. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory for this position.
