The MRI Technologist will perform safety screenings and monitor patient safety during MRI examinations. Responsibilities also include operating MRI equipment and ensuring quality images are transferred to PACS.
A minimum of one year of MRI experience is required, along with ARRT certification in MRI and a valid Radiologic Technologist permit in Montana. Graduates from an approved School of Radiology Technology are preferred.

You’ll work closely with radiologists, physicians, and fellow imaging professionals to provide high-quality MRI studies that support accurate diagnoses and outstanding patient outcomes. What You’ll Do Conduct comprehensive MRI and contrast media safety screenings to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality imaging care. Review implants and medical devices to ensure safe MRI scanning and monitor patient safdety throughout the examination process Verify patient details, educate and guide patients through the imaging process with empathy and professionalism Administer IV contrasts in accordance with physician orders and safety standards Position patients accurately and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Verify and transfer quality images to PACS Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital regulations Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department workflow enhancements Support onboarding and training of new team members Maintain and manage imaging equipment and inventory supplies Foster positive communication and teamwork across departments
