The Nurse Aide provides basic patient care activities and non-professional services. They focus on meeting the personal needs and ensuring the comfort of patients in the Med Surg 3 department.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, and completion of a Certified Nurse Aide training program is preferred. BLS certification is mandatory, and experience is preferred but not required.
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Nurse Aide for our Med Surg 3 department. The Nurse Aide will assist in providing basic patient care activities for which employee has been prepared as well as non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
High School Diploma/GED required. Successful completion of Certified Nurse Aide training program preferred.
Experience preferred, but not required.
Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff; manual dexterity required to use hands easily and skillfully while aiding patients. BLS required.
