The Staff Nurse II provides professional care to a group of patients using the nursing process and therapeutic interventions. They are responsible for fiscally responsible care and collaboration with the healthcare team in an outpatient wound services setting.
Requires a BSN, current California RN license, and WCN certification from WOCN. Candidates must have at least one year of acute care hospital experience and one year of experience in an outpatient wound care clinic.
$87.66 - $116.86 + applicable differentials Summary of Duties: The Staff Nurse II is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides fiscally responsible care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members. Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN Required. Licensure/Certification Requirements: Current California RN license, AHA BLS, and ACLS are required. WCN certification from WOCN. Experience Requirements: Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required. One (1) year experience in an OP Wound Care Clinic is required with VAC dressings, Wound assessment skills, ostomy & principles of Wound management. Special Skills/Abilities: Ability to work productively in a busy and complex environment, effective written and oral communication skills in English. Case Manager experience preferred.
