The specialist manages the stabilization of individuals and families experiencing homelessness within shelter or temporary lodging sites. Key duties include conducting HMIS intakes, performing site safety walks, and coordinating care for clients with complex behavioral health and medical needs.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of six months of recovery from substance use or mental health disorders. Preference is given to candidates with 1-3 years of healthcare experience and Behavioral Health Technician certification.
