The physician is responsible for the medical care and treatment of hospice patients while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and attending physicians. They provide guidance to staff and volunteers to ensure quality standards of care and participate in clinical education.
The candidate must be an expert physician capable of leading a hospice interdisciplinary team. They should be committed to professionalism, collaboration, and the continuous improvement of end-of-life care.
