Acts as a clinical resource and consultant for nursing staff regarding the care of patients with ostomies, wounds, and incontinence. Provides essential education and development for both staff and patients.
Requires a BSN, Georgia RN license, and completion of an accredited WOC nursing program with board certification. At least two years of related clinical nursing experience and BLS certification are mandatory.

Serves as a clinical resource and consultant to the nursing staff in the care of patients with ostomies, fistula tubes, dermal wounds, incontinence, and other disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems. Assists in staff development, staff education, and patient education related to care.
