Responsible for managing patient health records, preparing daily charts, and coordinating the transfer of medical records between providers and insurance companies. The role also involves handling legal requests for records and maintaining billing logs for medical records services.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical records and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must possess strong data entry skills, basic computer proficiency, and a thorough understanding of HIPAA compliance.

This position is responsible for managing patient’s health records and history.
1. Preparing patient charts daily.
1. Handling phone requests. 2. Transferring of care requests. 1. Providing continuity of care outside providers when requested. 3. Preparing invoices and maintaining balance sheet for medical records billings. 4. Maintaining a log to ensure all requests have been completed in timely manner.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong data entry skills
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Basic computer skills to scan, organize and access electronic health records
Time management skills
HIPAA Compliance: Understanding of company Policy and Procedures
