EncompassCare Clinical Counseling

Holmes County, Ohio
The counselor conducts diagnostic assessments and implements individualized treatment plans for nursing home residents. They provide individual and group therapy while collaborating with interdisciplinary staff to monitor treatment effectiveness.
Candidates must hold an active state license to practice as a social worker or professional counselor in Ohio (LPC, LPCC, LSW, or LISW). Experience providing therapy to older adults is preferred but not required.

It is a full-time position averaging 36-40 hours per week with full-time benefits. This position will be located at Altercare Majora Lane (105 Majora LN, Millersburg OH 44654)
Demonstrates solid therapeutic and evaluating skills, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and positive problem-solving skills. Abides by the EncompassCare and/or professional code of ethics.
Requires an active state license to practice as a social worker or professional counselor in Ohio. Experience in providing counseling/therapy services to older adults preferred but not required.
