The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements individualized treatment programs to assist patients in developing, recovering, or maintaining daily living and work skills. This role supports participants in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life through therapeutic interventions.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and at least one year of experience working with the elderly population. Registration as an occupational therapist by the NBCOT and a valid Colorado license are also required.

PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 163 PACE programs, serving more than 72,000 participants in 32 states.
The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.
