The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care, documentation, and assessment for pediatric patients. Additional duties include serving as a charge nurse, mentoring staff, and participating in quality improvement and safety activities.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current Massachusetts RN license. Requirements include BLS certification, passing a pharmacology exam, and either recent pediatric acute care experience or at least one year of general acute care experience.
