The Peer Recovery Specialist provides supervision and support to clients in a structured residential treatment environment. They facilitate individual and group sessions to help clients develop recovery plans and model effective coping strategies based on lived experience.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree and one year of experience with the target population preferred. Candidates should possess proficient computer skills and obtain Peer Recovery Specialist certification within one year of hire.
