The role involves establishing and maintaining a myeloid malignancies database and performing basic data analysis for research purposes. Responsibilities also include writing abstracts and manuscripts and coordinating screening lists for the hereditary hematologic malignancies clinic.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or a combination of college coursework and laboratory experience. No professional experience is required for those holding a Bachelor's degree.
JOB SUMMARY Works under minimal supervision to provide responsible technical assistance in performance of assignments requiring basic knowledge of techniques and practices related to particular field of science.
Establish a myeloid malignancies database (retrospective and prospectively collect data), basic data analysis for research purposes, write up abstracts/manuscripts, communicate with patients for the hereditary hematologic malignancies clinic screening lists. There are only a handful of hereditary hematologic malignancy clinics in the US.

Required Education Bachelor's Degree With major coursework in field of assignment and no experience or Two (2) years of college with emphasis in coursework in field of assignment or High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience No experience required with Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of laboratory experience at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with two (2) years of college or 4 years of laboratory experience including two years at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with High School Graduation or GED equivalent
