Perform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures and manage comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Must hold an MD or DO degree, be board-certified, and possess a valid California medical license. Completion of a residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery is required.

In this role, you will play a critical part in our cardiothoracic surgery department, providing comprehensive surgical care to patients with heart and lung conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within our practice.
Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures and manage pre-operative and post-operative care Conduct patient consultations and evaluations to determine surgical needs Collaborate with surgical teams to plan and execute complex surgeries Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Participate in case reviews and quality assurance activities Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and recovery Stay updated on advancements in cardiothoracic surgery techniques and technologies
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of California Completion of residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery Strong clinical skills and surgical expertise in cardiothoracic procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Office hours, hospital rounds, heart team meeting, interacting with APPs, and surgery Required Procedures: Cardiac and thoracic procedures, including CABG, valve surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, TAVR, etc. Support Staff: Medical office staff, perfusionists, nurses, APPs, and anesthesiologists EMR: Cerner Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
