The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating a diverse patient population and establishing individualized plans of care. They perform various rehabilitation treatments and supervise support personnel to ensure patient progress.
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. A valid license to practice Physical Therapy from the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy is required.
This position requires the responsibility of providing treatment to a diverse patient population. Physical Therapists are also responsible for the supervision of treatments or parts of treatments delegated to support personnel. The Physical Therapist will work with patients, initially evaluating them and establishing a plan of care. The Physical Therapist should ensure patients are progressing and adapt the plan of care according to progress and other applicable conditions. These treatments should include utilization of techniques and equipment of rehabilitation, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, manual therapy, ultrasound, traction, therapeutic exercises, massage, wound care interventions, and individualized application to the patient. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
