San Luis Valley Health in Alamosa, Colorado is seeking a highly motivated full-time Behavioral Health Clinician III to provide behavioral health therapy services. The provider will work closely with medical team to support patient outcomes, through screening, brief intervention, and counseling services. A Successful candidate will have a strong desire to work with a medical team, provide consultation and expertise on behavioral interventions, and enjoy a fast-paced setting, implementing cutting-edge interventions. Position offers continuing education and competitive salary and benefits.
Must be licensed in the State of Colorado.
Master's degree.
2 years' experience post-licensure preferred.
Experience working within medical setting preferred.
Must be credentialed or eligible to participate in State and Federal healthcare programs and private insurances.
Must have current CPR certification.
Knowledge of acute and chronic care protocols and in the delivery of behavioral health care.
Knowledge of how to assess patient health.
Knowledge of health promotion principles, techniques and patient learning measurements.
