The Cardiology Lab (Cath Lab) and the Interventional Radiology Lab are high-acuity procedural areas serving a diverse adult patient population.
The RNs on this unit will support adult patients, often with comorbidities such as coronary artery disease, stroke risk, peripheral vascular disease, etc.
You will collaborate with ICU, ED, and inpatient units for urgent/emergent cases.
On-call responsibilities include STEMI activations or emergent IR procedures.
Nurses work closely with interventional cardiologists, radiologists, technologists, and anesthesia providers.
We use advanced imaging systems (e.g., fluoroscopy, CT-guided interventions), hemodynamic monitoring, and sedation protocols.
This role requires adaptability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment with frequent transitions between patient care and technical support.
