Salary
$25 - $30 / HOUR
The Medical Assistant provides direct patient support by recording medical histories, performing preliminary physical tests, and collecting blood samples. They are also responsible for maintaining treatment rooms, managing medical supplies, and ensuring accurate patient documentation.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and either a Medical Assistant certificate or two years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include a phlebotomy license and experience managing HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C care.

The medical assistant reports to the nurse manager and help patients by providing information, services, and assistance. Other duties include securing medical records, maintaining medical supplies inventory; performing preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating.
