The Medical Records Coordinator facilitates the maintenance, acquisition, and organization of historical and current medical records for participants. Key duties include uploading discharge summaries to the EMR and ensuring authorized release of information to governmental entities.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience in a medical records or administrative office setting are required.

The primary purpose of the Medical Records Coordinator is to facilitate the maintenance of the participants’ medical record. Prioritizes, organizes and coordinates the acquisition of historical and current records of Senior Community Care participants (prospective and active) to meet regulations and the needs of staff.
