The Ultrasound Technologist performs and records two-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations using ultrasonic equipment. They also complete patient intakes and confer with providers regarding imaging test results.
Candidates must complete an accredited ultrasound program and be registered or eligible for registration as a diagnostic medical sonographer or vascular technologist. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with solid computer skills, are required.

Performs and records two-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional patient data. Completes patient intakes via collection of medical history and answers patient questions regarding imaging procedures. Confers with providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborates to determine if additional images required.
