Work Experience: 0 - 6 month(s) related experience inclusive of on the job or classroom training in phlebotomy.
Basic PC Skills. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to draw blood specimens. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Collects patient specimens competently and accurately. Supports the general operation of the Laboratory. Documents collection and processes specimens efficiently. Performs phlebotomy collections in a timely manner. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established. Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
