The Registered Oncology Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, formulating nursing diagnoses, and administering chemotherapy according to ONS and OSHA guidelines. They collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans and provide patient education.

The Registered Oncology Nurse provides quality cancer care by assessing and monitoring patients, formulating a nursing diagnosis and prioritizing problems. Engages the patient in mutual goal setting and developing a plan of care in collaboration with the physician and other members of the health care team.
·Licensed RN in the State of Michigan.
·Successful completion of competency based orientation program and chemotherapy certificate.
·ONS Chemo & Biotherapy Provider Card
·CPR certification or acquisition within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1-year medical/surgical (preferably oncology).
