Key Responsibilities
Administer skilled nursing care under RN supervision.
Perform curative, rehabilitative, or preventive care tasks as outlined in patient care plans.
Utilize clinical expertise and nursing education to make informed, independent decisions that support patient care and promote positive outcomes.
Complete visit reports promptly and accurately within the electronic medical record system to support high-quality care and regulatory compliance, including all required documentation.
Confirm daily visit schedules to ensure seamless coordination with other staff.
Demonstrate awareness of the agency’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program and participate as required.
Understand and adhere to the agency’s process for managing and addressing customer complaints.
Maintain acute awareness of patient rights, ensuring these rights are upheld in accordance with the agency’s service agreements and admission policies.
Understand the agency’s policies regarding appropriate patient discharge and reasons for discharge.
