Candidates must possess an active LVN/LPT license, a California Driver's License, and at least one year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and able to lift 30 lbs.

Here's What You'll Do: The Licensed Vocational Nurse supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients. Essential Functions: Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan. Administering Medication (Five Rights Always) Attend Medical Appointments and Communicate with Providers Support Daily living activites Document can and report unusual incidents. Insulin administration for diabetic individuals Education and Experience: Active LVN/LPT License Required 1 Year of Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain) Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a California Driver’s License Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30lbs. Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
