The Occupational Therapist provides outpatient rehabilitation services to older adults within their homes or independent living facilities. They are responsible for evaluating patients, designing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic techniques to restore functional performance.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum and a valid state license. Additionally, registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and a valid driver's license are required.
