The LPN is responsible for conducting initial nursing assessments and administering medications for adult men in an inpatient rehab setting. They must manage withdrawal protocols using COWS and CIWA scales while coordinating care with medical providers.
Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered LPN license in Pennsylvania and valid CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications. Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is preferred.
LPN PRN - Overnight Shift Summary: As an LPN at our Quakertown inpatient rehab center, you will play an essential role in delivering treatment to adult men seeking recovery in a structured setting. Clients receive therapy, medical care, and education to help overcome personal issues and work toward sustained sobriety. We offer comprehensive addiction treatment and integrate holistic approaches to substance use recovery. Under passionate leadership, Pyramid Healthcare provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare, including psychiatry, addiction recovery, and mental disorder treatment, all defined by supportive environments to reclaim health and well-being. Pay Range: $34-36/hr depending on experience Shift: Overnight Top Reasons Why a Nursing Position with Pyramid Healthcare - Quakertown Inpatient is Unique: No ADLs: Our clients are independent in bathing, feeding, grooming, and personal hygiene. No Catheters or IVs: Nurses are not responsible for catheter care or IV insertions. No Blood Draws: We contract with a national lab for blood draws. Minimal Physical Requirements: No heavy lifting or long periods of standing/walking. No Paper MARs: We utilize an active electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR). Essential
Properly communicate and guide LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments. Complete initial Nursing Assessments for new admissions. Administer medications and be knowledgeable about withdrawal management protocols. Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol. Provide medication education to clients. Coordinate and support medical providers during initial assessments and medication management appointments. Maintain medical equipment in proper working order. Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours. Perform other duties as assigned. Licensure, Education, & Experience: Current, unencumbered LPN license in Pennsylvania required. Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification required. Background or experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred. Experience in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders preferred.
