This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a significant impact in patient care while enjoying flexibility in their work schedule.

As a Locum General Surgeon, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical care to our patients. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure effective surgical interventions and follow-up care. You will be part of a supportive environment that values excellence in medical practice and fosters continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of surgical procedures in the field of general surgery Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in medical staff meetings and case reviews Adhere to established protocols and quality standards Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and practices

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of a residency program in General Surgery Current board certification or eligibility in General Surgery Strong surgical skills and a commitment to patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Current state medical license to practice in Williston

Experience in a locum or temporary position is a plus

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7a-7a

Patient Volume: 1-2 per day, ~34 per month

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
