The pharmacist is responsible for reviewing every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety, and efficacy before dispensing to an individual patient, covering routine, stat, and investigational orders. They must also maintain drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment, and clinical programs.
Candidates must have hospital pharmacy experience or clinically relevant experience, or be a graduate of a Doctor of Pharmacy Program. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school is required, along with a New Jersey Pharmacy license or eligibility for licensure.
