The role involves providing clinical support by taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, and assisting physicians with ENT and allergy procedures. Additionally, the position requires medical scribing and managing administrative tasks such as scheduling and authorizations.
Candidates must have at least one year of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant and Scribe. A current certification is required, or the candidate must be willing to complete an in-house training course and state test.
Minimum one-year HANDS ON Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe experience. Current with certification or willing to participate and pass our in-house training course and state test. Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members. EMR experience. Strong computer literacy. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Medical, Dental and Vision: Effective 1st of the month after 60 days of full time employment. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Incumbent must also be able to assist patients in transferring from wheelchair to an exam chair, when necessary. Responsibilities will require the incumbent to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
