The physician is responsible for examining and treating a general patient base to ensure proper injury care, disease prevention, and recovery. This includes prescribing medications, performing vaccinations, and referring patients to specialists as needed.
Candidates must be M.D. or D.O. graduates who are board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. A valid state medical board license is required, and fellowship training in Geriatrics is welcomed.
