The CT Technologist performs CT exams and procedures under the direction of a radiologist to provide patient-centered imaging services. They are responsible for administering ionizing radiation safely while adhering to ALARA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Candidates must be graduates of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiology with ARRT registration, an IEMA license, and BLS certification. A CT certification program graduate and CT certification are preferred.
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides patient centered service as an imaging technologist in Computed Tomography. Under the direction of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs CT exams and procedures at a technical level. The CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for adequate diagnostic quality while abiding by ALARA guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care
