Responsible for the efficient collection of plasma from donors through venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process. Duties include donor set-up, equipment troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience for external candidates. Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Summary: Responsible for the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors by performing venipuncture, monitoring the pheresis process and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
