The RN is responsible for providing individualized oncology care, including assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans to achieve optimum outcomes. They act as a patient advocate and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage resources and improve patient outcomes.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing program and hold or be eligible for Virginia RN licensure. Required certifications include AHA BLS-HCP, with proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records.
