The specialist is responsible for compiling and verifying provider data and completing enrollment and re-credentialing applications for various insurance plans. They also monitor expiring licenses and conduct audits of plan directories to ensure accuracy.
Candidates need at least 2 years of administrative experience in healthcare and 2 years of specific credentialing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with tools like CAQH, PECOS, and NCQA regulations are required.
